EMMA KOSHI

Director of Seb's Projects India

Emma attributes her success to her mother, who greatly valued education. Education quickly became her passion and she has championed quality education as a right for every young person, no matter their background.

After 16 years of teaching in a prestigious private school, she began working with disadvantaged children who attend the government schools, focusing on their educational challenges and inequalities and helping them to achieve better health and life skills.

Today, Emma leads Seb’s Projects India (the Sebastian Hunter Memorial Trust’s headquarters in India) to take a truly local approach to development, working with each individual that needs assistance to find a sustainable solution to poverty, and promoting education above all else as the answer to inequality in India.
